Just imagine …
Paternoster
The Beach Hut
Standing right on the beach, with uninterrupted views of the bay and idyllic Langstrand beach, The Beach Hut commands one of the finest positions imaginable on the West Coast. From the seaside deck, you step directly onto the white sand beach that stretches into the distance for kilometres.

While you are just 150 kilometres from Cape Town, here it feels like you’re a world away. Paternoster is one of the oldest traditional fishing villages on the South African West Coast, and the fisherfolk still live according to winds and tides.
When it’s calm, you’ll see their colourful wooden fishing boats heading out to sea to catch snoek or bronze bream, depending on the season. If you time it just right, you may be able to buy fresh fish directly from the boats when they return to shore. Then a fish braai simply couldn’t be fresher. Or there’s a choice of diverse dining options available at the various restaurants in the village too.
While there’s plenty to do and see and experience in Paternoster, kicking back at The Beach Hut is also a fine option. Imagine long beach walks, brisk swims and lazy sundowners on the deck. This is the good life, and balm for body and soul.
